Cooking up a seasonal storm at Winchcombe School
We are delighted to sponsor the monthly competition at Winchcombe School to design and make a recipe using seasonal ingredients. The competition is open to students, teachers and support staff, with the aim of creating the best recipe using the chosen seasonal ingredients.
The winner of the September competition was Thierry Fox from year 11 who created a stuffed courgette 'pizza'. There was a lot of effort put into his entry, and the recipe sounded delicious! I hope all those who tried it from the school canteen enjoyed it!
School business manager, Debbie Wardlaw presented the prize winner Thierry with a voucher for £20, which we were very pleased to donate. Well done Thierry, and we look forward to the next recipes!
